I know, I know. Under normal circumstances, stainless steel doesn't have to be hardened. I'm fully aware of that. But some hydraulic turbines at work start corroding much sooner than they should. Possibly because my boss has bought them from the cheapest manufacturer here. We're looking for ways to rectify that and make the best out of the situation since he has bought them in bulk since it's even cheaper then.

So I have been looking into that kind of stuff and stumbled upon Borinox here. Has anyone ever heard of that? They claim that this treatment is suited for stainless steels but I'm not sure if it's true. It does sound promising though!

If you know any other ways to harden stainless steel, let me know, yeah?
