Job Description

AOV Diagnostic Technician

AOV Diagnostic Technician Duties - Responsible for functional and post maintenance diagnostic testing, corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air operated valves. Positioning, stroke and thrust outputs such that the air operated valve performance meets prescribed design and vendor specifications for seating, seating force, stroke length and position control. Experience and Training - 2 to 3 years experience or as required by site in testing of air operated valves. Individual demonstrating proficiency in the operation and use of current industry standard diagnostic equipment. 

AOV Technician

AOV Technician Duties- Perform repair of air operated valves including Fisher, Miller, Masonielan, Copes-Vulcan, Anchor Darling, etc. Should be able to perform setting valve stroke, bench set and disconnect and reconnect of the actuators. Perform maintenance, installation, calibration of pneumatic positioners, limit switches, regulators, and I/Ps. Experience and Training - Must have 3 years experience in the performance of actuator refurbishment. Must have actuator training and TPE for Air operated valves to be worked. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

MOV Technician

MOV Technician Duties - Perform MOV refurbish activities including preventative and corrective maintenance, actuator regrease, electrical equipment removal/installation, valve position limit switch setup on Motor Operator Actuators (Limitorque, Rotork, EIM etc.). Experience and Training - Must have 3 years experience in MOV refurbishment. Completion of a Motor operated valve training course and pass MOV TPE. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

MOV Diagnostic Technician

MOV Diagnostic Technician Duties - Responsible for functional, post maintenance testing, and diagnostic testing of motor operated valves. Acquisition and direction of adjustments to motor operated valve position and thrust outputs such that the motor operated valve performance meets prescribed design specifications for seating force and control circuit operation. Experience and Training - 2 to 3 years experience or required by site in diagnostic testing. Individual demonstrating proficiency in the operation and use of current industry standard diagnostic equipment. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
