Job Description

We are hiring Oregon licensed electricians for a hotel project in Portland. All candidates must have a current Oregon journeyman’s license. Our client specializes in the construction and renovation of hotels in 17 states.

Responsibilities:

  • Lay out, Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.

  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.

  • Install electrical conduit and pull wire.

  • Install electrical panels, electrical breakers, receptacles, switches, machine disconnects and light fixtures.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman must have at least 4 years of experience. Experience must be in commercial or industrial.

  • Depending on level of experience, candidates must be able to read and comprehend instructions, drawings, prints, diagrams, schematics and other reports or printouts.

  • Must be able to use and operate hand and power tools.

We are hiring experienced millwrights with experience installing and maintaining conveyor or baggage handling systems for a project throughout the nation. Candidates will be working on bolt up and welded conveyor systems.

Requirements:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery.

  • Align, move, assemble and install machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs.

  • Utilize hand and power tools in the installation of equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least 2-4 years of mechanical or millwright experience. Conveyor or baggage handling installation or maintenance experience a plus.

  • Must be able to work as part of a team and assist other millwrights.

  • Current knowledge of the latest OSHA and industry safety measures, precautions and equipment.
